OCTOBER FOOD DRIVE A GREAT SUCCESS!

THANK YOU, MVUMC, FOR YOUR FOOD DONATIONS

Your generosity filled an entire pickup truck with food! Fresh Beginnings Director Bill Nelson was truly grateful and shared that they’ve already received about 1,500 requests for holiday food boxes this year. Thanks to your kindness, many families will enjoy a Thanksgiving meal who might not have been able to otherwise.

What a wonderful example of our congregation reaching out and sharing God’s love with those in need. Thank you for helping make the season brighter for so many!

UPCOMING MISSION BUCKS

It is a patient-centered medical home that provides high quality safety net services to the community. In addition to health services, it provides a food pantry, financial assistance, and homeless services. Your contributions to this Mission Bucks charity will help support the less fortunate in our community. You may contribute by using the envelope provided in the bulletin, mail your contribution to the office, or contribute online by going to www.MesaVerdeUMC.org and click on the "give now" button.

Thank you in advance for your financial support.

OPERATION SANTA CLAUS NOVEMBER 16-DECEMBER 7

Help share the joy of Christmas through Operation Santa Claus, a program coordinated by the Orange County Social Services Agency. This outreach provides gifts and toys to children who are abandoned, neglected, abused, in foster care, or are from disadvantaged families. The program also serves low-income adults who are elderly or severely disabled.

Gift tags will be available in the Narthex beginning November 16. Please bring unwrapped gifts to the Narthex or the church office no later than Sunday, December 7.

Your generosity will help brighten the holidays for the most vulnerable in the community. Thank you for sharing Christ's love this Christmas season!
