In Memoriam
Lilian Dyott Crawford
January 8, 1926 – August 24, 2015

Lilian has completed her course in faith and is now present with the Lord. A wonderful celebration of her life was held on August 29. A memorial fund has been established in her name. If you desire to contribute to Lilian’s memorial fund, gifts may be directed to the church office.

An Ode To Lilian
God sent a special person, Lil, to care for all of us,
She did it with great grace and skill and certainly no fuss.
Lil’s accomplishments were many, her love and laughter were the best.
She lived life to the fullest, encouraging us to live with zest.
In addition to raising a family in which she showed great pride,
Lil worked for peace and justice serving people far and wide.
Her roles were vast and varied, “mom,” “grandma,” “sister,” “friend,”
Inspiring leader, teacher, Stephen Minister…serving others to the end.
Now she is with her Maker who knows all her special deeds.
Dear Lil, we see you caring for the angels who have needs.

A Special Thanks to Lytle Screen Printing! They went above and beyond this year with our Vacation Bible School T-shirts. We Highly recommend them for any T-shirt needs. They are at 21572 Surveyor Circle, Huntington Beach, CA 92646. (714) 969-2767.

Dear Church Family,

I want to thank you for the cards, prayers and messages of support since my husband’s death. It has been a long road and I feel blessed to be a part of the Mesa Verde family.

Eyeglasses Needed

The Lyons Club is in need of any and all types of eyeglasses.  Please leave them on the kitchen counter or in the church office.   Thank You.

Inkjet Cartridges Being Recycled

We have signed up with The Cartridge Recycling Center to do our part in recycling, and we make a little money in the process. We can get up to $4.00 per recycled cartridge. Look for the box on the patio on Sundays or drop them off in the kitchen or the church office during the week.

DVDs of Sunday worship services are available in the church office!
